USMA Instructor and Examiner Certification Program

To Support Your Professional Documentation. Many of our one thousand club leaders have requested that we establish an instructor and examiner certification program. They tell us that the organizations where they are starting or conducting Martial Arts classes often request them to provide these certifications.

Click here and see an example of these certificates.

We believe that these certifications should be tied in closely with our rank system, and so your Association has established the following instructor and examiner certification levels. Effective immediately, USMA Black Belts in all Martial Arts will be eligible to apply for instructor and examiner certification as follows:

Certified Instructor or Certified Examiner or both: May be awarded to First, Second, and Third Degree Black Belts Only.

Certified Senior Instructor or Certified Senior Examiner or both: May be awarded to Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Degree Black Belts Only.

Certified Master Instructor or Certified Master Examiner or both: May be awarded to Seventh, Eighth, Ninth Degree Black Belts Only.

Certified Senior Master Instructor or Certified Senior Master Examiner or both: May be awarded to Tenth Degree Black Belts Only.

Procedures: Please use our USMA membership form to apply for Instructor or Examiner Certification. Please fill out the front of the form neatly, clearly and completely, this is very important. The required fees are noted on the back of the form.

Send your completed form and fee direct to USMA National Headquarters address: 8011 Mariposa Ave., Citrus Heights, CA 95610-1514.

The USMA IS THE CENTER OF AMERICAN MARTIAL ARTS. We are the only organization that includes all Martial Arts. Already we have over 600 different Martial Arts enrolled, and should soon have 1,000. The entire industry, an estimated 250,000 clubs and up to 25,000,000 participants, revolves around our organization. I want you to be proud of this. and I am certainly proud of you.
